New scheme to help employers avoid £20k fine for employing illegal worker

Licence Bureau has launched a right-to-work validation service to safeguard the risk of employers being faced with a £20,000 fine for employing an illegal migrant worker.

It will be available online through its compliance managed services web tool and is particularly relevant to UK companies who work in sectors where migrant workers drive company vehicles, particularly commercial vehicles, as part of their daily work.

To offer this new service Licence Bureau has teamed up with NSL Validation Solutions which manages complex outsourced services to UK central and local government and the NHS.

The partnership allows Licence Bureau to promote secure right-to-work checks to its corporate customers within 24 hours of an employer’s details being submitted, while NSL will offer a driver licence verification service to its customers.
